Welcome to the Boretech Engineering website.

Boretech Engineering Born October 1984.

The business was founded in 1984 by Andy Heitman who concentrated in the main on motorcycle engineering, cylinder reboring and crank rebuilding, hence the name BORETECH.

Andy, a keen Motocross rider, decided to combine his enthusiasm for the sport with his Engineering capabilities and in 1985 the company took on its present form as a franchised motocross outlet specialising in two- and four-stroke engine and suspension tuning. Andy now helps (or hinders) occasionally on a very part time basis.

After 20 years, the company is now run By Sam Heitman (Andy's son)



Sam competes at club level when work commitments allow. He is also competing in EVO class on a 1989 Suzuki RM125 and pre68 race meetings on Triumph 500 powered Rickman Metisse. Keep an eye out for race results and photos. He has been competing since he was 13 at British Schoolboy Championship level and in 1998 competed in the British Four Stroke championship series he currently retains ACU Expert status.
